Low Thermal Expansion Nickel-Iron Alloy Powder

GMP® 36™ from Globus Metal Powders is a nickel-iron (FeNi36) alloy powder engineered for extremely low thermal expansion, high dimensional stability, and predictable mechanical performance. Produced via argon inert gas atomisation, this powder features ultra-low oxygen content, tightly controlled minor elements, and optimised spherical particle morphology, making it suitable for PM-HIP, additive manufacturing (AM), metal injection moulding (MIM), and thermal spray applications. 

Alloy 36™ is widely used in precision instruments, aerospace, optics, and scientific equipment, where thermal stability is critical. Its unique composition allows components to maintain dimensional integrity across temperature fluctuations, making it ideal for precision tooling, assemblies, and structures exposed to variable thermal environments. 

Differentiation
